Abigail Brackney, M.D.

Abigail Brackney, M.D., is the Associate Ultrasound Division Head in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She is a 2007 graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine and went on to complete an Emergency Medicine residency and Ultrasound fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. 

Dr. Brackney went on to become the Associate Ultrasound director of Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI and was an assistant professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine for 9 years before returning to Henry Ford at her current position. 

Dr. Brackney is currently the co-director of the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians Summer Assembly and Winter Symposium and serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan College of Emergency Physicians.  In the last few years, she has become an integral part in continuing the 4-year ultrasound curriculum at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
